Lemoine Bade was an American Science Fiction Writer, born on 5 April 1928 in
Lincoln, Nebraska. By profession he was an US academic, physicist and he worked
for NASA. He began publishing Hard SF stories with "Advent" for
Astounding in January 1948, beginning a short series ending with "The
Eight Hundredth Hundred-Day" (Fall 1953 Fantastic Worlds). He wrote three
other stories also. He died on 12 February 2005 in Hyannis, Massachusetts.
